Questions and Answers
We have heard every question. Here are honest answers.
getting started
Do I need to be vegan to work with you? +
Not at all. We work with people who eat meat, who are vegetarian, who are already plant-based, and everyone in between. Our philosophy is simple: more plants is better, whatever your starting point. You do not have to commit to anything except trying.
How do I get started? +
The easiest way is to book a free consultation on WhatsApp or by email. We will talk about your goals, your current eating habits, your lifestyle, and which service or programme fits you best. There is no pressure and no obligation.
Can you accommodate different food cultures? +
Yes — this is one of the things we are most proud of. We build meal plans around the cuisines you already love: East African, South Asian, Mediterranean, West African, and more. We do not replace your culture with bland salads. We make your existing food more plant-rich.
Is plant-based eating affordable? +
Plant protein is almost always cheaper than meat. Lentils, beans, groundnuts, and seasonal vegetables are among the most affordable foods available in Uganda. Our meal plans are designed to work with local markets and realistic household budgets.
services
How does cooked meal delivery work? +
We cook fresh every day. Place your order by 10am and your meals are delivered the same day within Kampala. You can order for yourself, for your family, or set up a weekly plan so your food is ready without daily effort.
What areas do you deliver to? +
We currently deliver cooked meals and fresh grocery boxes across Kampala and the surrounding areas including Entebbe, Wakiso, Mukono, and Kira. Contact us to confirm your specific location.
Can I do the cooking classes at home? +
Yes. We offer both in-person group classes at our kitchen and private home sessions. For home sessions, our chef comes to your kitchen and teaches you in your own space using your own equipment.
Do you offer gym training for beginners? +
Absolutely. Our Plant Athlete Programme is designed for all fitness levels, from people who have never lifted weights to serious athletes. David, our Head Performance Coach, builds a programme around your current level and goals.
nutrition
Will I get enough protein without meat? +
Yes. This is the most common concern people have, and the science is very clear on this. Seitan provides 75g of protein per 100g — more than chicken. Lentils, beans, soy, moringa, and groundnuts all provide complete or near-complete proteins that match or exceed meat gram for gram. We build every meal plan with protein sufficiency as a priority.
Can plant nutrition help with my chronic condition? +
Clinical research consistently shows that whole-food plant diets reduce the risk of and can help reverse type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and obesity. We work alongside your doctor — not instead of them — and many of our clients have been able to reduce or eliminate medication under medical supervision.
What is a juicing journey? +
A juicing journey is a structured 7 to 21 day programme using fresh, seasonal whole food juices and plant meals to reset your digestive system, increase energy, and reduce inflammation. You receive a guide, a daily juice plan, fresh ingredients, and daily coaching support throughout.
How quickly will I see results? +
Most clients report increased energy and reduced bloating within the first two weeks. Significant changes in weight, blood sugar, and cholesterol are typically visible within four to twelve weeks depending on your starting point and consistency.
programmes
What is the difference between a service and a programme? +
A service is a single offering you can book independently — like a cooking class or a nutrition consultation. A programme is a bundled journey that combines multiple services over a set period for a deeper, more sustained transformation.
Do you offer corporate or group programmes? +
Yes. Our Workplace Wellness programme brings nutrition workshops, cooking demonstrations, office catering, and group coaching to organisations. Wellness Circles are monthly group sessions for families and communities.
